Privacy Policy - Live Micro
This translation is provided for convenience; the English version prevails.
Effective date: September 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the Android application Live Micro (package mictospeaker.megaphone.livemicro, "the App"), published by FightTech, handles information.
1. Summary
Live Micro plays your voice live through your phone's speaker or connected headphones. Audio is processed on your device and is never recorded, saved or uploaded, and the App needs no account. The App shows no ads and does not access the Android Advertising ID. It uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics for anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, and Google Play Billing for Premium (monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase). You can turn analytics and crash reporting off in Settings.
2. Audio
The App uses the microphone only while you have switched it on with the mic button, after you grant permission, and an ongoing notification is shown the whole time it is on. Sound from the microphone is processed on your device (gain, feedback guard, effects) and played back immediately through the speaker, headphones or Bluetooth device you chose. The App never records, stores or uploads audio, and keeps no recordings. Sirens and chimes are synthesised on the device.
3. Data stored on your device
The App stores your settings on the device: gain, feedback guard and clear voice switches, output choice, tap or hold mode, last effect and its amount, siren volume, whether you have seen the safety note and permission explanations, the analytics opt-out switch and your Premium status cache. This data stays in the app's private storage on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App.
4. Analytics and crash reporting
The App includes Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. Because those libraries are present, the App declares the INTERNET permission. What is sent:
- Feature usage - screens opened, microphone started or stopped (with output type, mode and session length rounded to a range), feedback detected (frequency band only), effect or siren chosen, paywall shown and purchase result.
- Technical values - app version, Android version, device model and error codes such as the microphone being unavailable.
- Firebase also attaches its own standard app-instance identifier, app version, device model, country and language.
- Crash reports - stack traces and device state at the moment of a crash.
No audio, recordings or audio-derived content is ever sent.
You can disable analytics and crash reporting at any time in Settings → Share anonymous usage & crash reports. When it is off, the App stops sending analytics and crash reports.
5. Data collection, sharing and third parties
- We do not collect any personal information (no names, email addresses, contacts, files, or photos).
- We do not sell or share personal data for advertising.
- Google Play processes purchase history and payment transactions. The App does not receive or store card numbers or other payment credentials.
- Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics process analytics and crash data; see the Firebase privacy documentation and Google Privacy Policy.
- All audio work happens on-device; network access is used only by analytics, crash reporting and Google Play Billing.
6. Purchases
Premium is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Payments, renewals, refunds and cancellations are handled by Google Play under your Google account. The App only receives the purchase status needed to unlock features. You can cancel a subscription at any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.
7. Permissions
- Microphone - used only while you have switched the live microphone on, to play your voice through the speaker. Nothing is recorded.
- Foreground service (microphone) - keeps the live microphone running with the screen off, always with a visible notification and a Stop button.
- Notifications - shows the ongoing notification while the microphone is on (Android 13 and later ask for this).
- Billing - used by Google Play Billing to buy and restore Premium.
- Internet / network state - used by Firebase and Google Play Billing.
8. Children
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from any user, including children.
9. Changes to this policy
